To document an appliance disposal, user simply needs to select the Record Appliance Disposal button and complete the corresponding form. The form is brief, requiring a simple gathering of details such as appliance name, refrigerant type and amount of refrigerant recovered.
All fields are required, including the Notes field. We encourage use of the Notes field to document any supplemental information available about the disposal, including, but not limited to: where the appliance was sent for disposal, where recovered refrigerant was sent, the name, certification type and certification number of the technician that completed the shutdown.
