What this does: The Move Cylinders function transfers cylinders from one location to another. For example, between warehouses, tech trucks, and service locations. You choose where the cylinders are going, when they were sent, and which cylinders to move.
Before you start: You need the destination location, the date the cylinders were sent, and at least one cylinder to move. This guide covers the Trakref mobile experience.
Moving a Cylinder
Open Inventory. From the landing page, tap the left menu to open the menu, then tap Inventory → Inventory.
Open Move Cylinders. On the Inventory page two buttons stack at the top: Create Inventory (blue), with the recycle icon below it. Tap the recycle icon to open the dropdown, then tap Move Cylinders.

Select the cylinders to move. Select Cylinders is at the top of the form. Find a location by scrolling, searching, or adding a filter. The number in parentheses next to a location is how many cylinders are available to move there. Tap the checkbox next to each cylinder you want to include.
Checking the box next to a cylinder to include it in the move (shown in the desktop layout; the mobile form uses the same checkboxes).
Filter the list (optional): Tap + Add Filters to narrow the cylinders shown — Asset Type, Material Type, Gas Capacity, Current Gas Weight, Tag Number, or Acquisition Date. If a filter combination returns nothing, you’ll see “No results to display, reset filters to see more results.”
+ Add Filters and the “No results to display” empty state.
View cylinder details (optional): Tap the eye icon (View Cylinder Details) next to a cylinder to see its Cylinder Type, Material Type, Gas Capacity, Tag Number, Acquisition Date, and Current Gas Weight.
View Cylinder Details.
Move from more than one location (optional): Clear the location search and scroll the full list to select cylinders from different locations in a single move, and they all will go to the same destination.
Set the destination and date. Scroll down to “action details” at the bottom of the form and complete the two required fields:
Send To — choose the destination location from the dropdown.
Date Sent — the date the cylinders were sent to that destination.
Send To and Date Sent in “action details” at the bottom of the form.
Move the cylinders. Scroll to the bottom of the form and tap Move Cylinders. A green success message confirms the move, and the page reloads to the inventory detail page.

Verify the move. On the inventory detail page that loads after the move, filter to the destination to confirm the cylinders are now there.
Troubleshooting
“Please select at least one cylinder.” You tapped Move Cylinders without checking any cylinders. Check at least one cylinder, then try again.

“This field is required.” Send To or Date Sent is blank. The field is outlined in red — complete it to continue. (Required fields are checked first; the cylinder message appears after they are filled in.)
