What this does: Cylinder Reweigh lets you audit a cylinder and recalculate its current gas weight when an adjustment is needed. It is available only for active Virgin Cylinder or Recovery Cylinder inventory items.
Before you start: Have the date of the reweigh, the new gas weight (in pounds and ounces), and a reason ready. Fields, options, and permissions are identical to the desktop version, only the layout differs.
Reweigh a Cylinder
Open Inventory. Tap the menu (three-line) icon, then select Inventory.
Find your cylinder. If the cylinder is visible in the list, tap its name. Otherwise, use the filter to locate it:
Tag Number — type the cylinder's tag number to narrow the list, then tap the cylinder name. (Using the filter is optional.)

Enter the reweigh details. Complete the required fields in the Reweigh Cylinder form:
- Date of Reweigh — choose today or a prior date. Future dates cannot be selected.
- New Gas Weight — enter the new weight in pounds and ounces. It cannot exceed the cylinder's maximum gas capacity.
- Reason — select Error, Wrong Read, or End of Calendar Year Weighing.
- Notes — optional free text.

Save the reweigh. Once all required fields are complete, the Reweigh Cylinder button becomes active. Tap it to save. The cylinder's current gas weight updates to the new value and a confirmation message appears.

Review the reweigh history. The reweigh is recorded under the cylinder's history. Open the History tab and choose Cylinder Reweigh from the category list to see the date, the gas weight before the reweigh, the new gas weight, who recorded it, the reason, and any notes.

Troubleshooting
- “Reweigh amount cannot exceed max gas capacity.” The new gas weight is above the cylinder's maximum capacity. Enter a value at or below the cylinder's max gas capacity.
- The Reweigh Cylinder button is greyed out. A required field is missing. Make sure Date of Reweigh, New Gas Weight, and Reason are all complete.
- You can't pick a future date. The Date of Reweigh picker only allows today or a past date.
- You don't see the Reweigh action. Cylinder Reweigh appears only for active Virgin Cylinder or Recovery Cylinder items. Other asset types do not show it.
