What this does: The Move Cylinders function transfers cylinders from one location to another. For example, between warehouses, tech trucks, and service locations. You choose where the cylinders are going, when they were sent, and which cylinders to move.
Before you start: You need the destination location, the date the cylinders were sent, and at least one cylinder to move. This guide covers the desktop experience.
Moving a Cylinder
Open Inventory. From the left navigation menu, select Inventory → Inventory. The Inventory page opens with your cylinder list for the current instance.
Open the Move Cylinders form. Above the inventory table on the right, find the recycle icon (three arrows forming a triangle). Hover over it to reveal two options: Move Cylinders and Send Cylinders to Recycling, and select Move Cylinders.

Set the destination and date. At the top of the form, complete the two required fields:
- Send To — choose the destination location from the dropdown.
- Date Sent — the date the cylinders were sent to that destination.

Select the cylinders to move. In the Select Cylinders area, find a location by scrolling the list, searching for it, or adding a filter. The number in parentheses next to a location (for example, 524 Gemini (14)) is how many cylinders are available to move there. Check the box next to each cylinder you want to include.
Select Cylinders — a location searched and a cylinder checked.
Filter the list (optional): Select + Add Filters at the top of the Select Cylinders area to narrow the cylinders shown: Asset Type (Recovery or Virgin), Material Type, Gas Capacity, Current Gas Weight, Tag Number, or Acquisition Date. Filters can be combined, and reopened any time to adjust.
+ Add Filters with Asset Type set to Recovery Cylinder.
View cylinder details (optional): Select the eye icon (View Cylinder Details) next to a cylinder to see its Cylinder Type, Material Type, Gas Capacity, Tag Number, Acquisition Date, and Current Gas Weight.
View Cylinder Details.
Move from more than one location (optional): Clear the location search and scroll the full list to select cylinders from different locations in a single move, and they all go to the same destination.
Move the cylinders. Select Move Cylinders at the top-right of the form. A green success message confirms the move: “The cylinders were successfully moved to <destination>.”
Move Cylinders button (top-right) and the success message.
Verify the move. Open the destination Location → Inventory → Cylinders to confirm the moved cylinders now appear at that location.
