A work order in Trakref is the first part in recording service on an asset. Trakref uses a work order as a unique way to link service events together for all work done at a location in Trakref. There are several main requirements for creating a work order.
Why do we need a work order?
Trakref utilizes work orders as a way to tie all service events for a specific location together. A user can create multiple service events for the same or different assets at the same location by creating a work order. The work order also serves as a way to identify:
· Where was the work done?
· What was the client's PO/invoice number?
· When was the work started?
· Who was the servicing company completing the work?
· What is the general summary for the work completed?
