Trakref allows users to assign work orders to a specific Service Company and Technician(s). This feature allows system owners to assign or re-assign work orders to a preferred Service Company, and allows system owners or service providers to assign work orders to primary and secondary technicians.
1. To assign a work order, you must first navigate to the Work Order Detail page of an Open work order. This can be done using the Work Order Filter Criteria page, or Global Search.
2. From the Work Order Detail page, locate the Assign Work Order option located immediately to the right of the work order details.
a. If you do not see the Assign Work Order option, you may not have the appropriate permissions to complete this action. If you do not see this option but need to assign work order, please reach out to Trakref Support by clicking the Support button in the bottom right corner.
3. Select option Assign Work Order
4. After selecting Assign Work Order, the Assign Work Order pop up screen will display. Complete this form
a. Service Company - select the service company responsible for the work order
b. Scheduled Primary Technician - select the primary technician for this work order
c. Scheduled Secondary Technician - select the secondary technician for this work order
d. Date Scheduled - Enter the date work order is scheduled to start
e. Due Date - Enter the date work must be completed
5. After entering all the required information, click on the ASSIGN WORK ORDER button to save. This will assign the selected work order according to the selections made from the provided fields
